Weight Loss

I have always been big boned 🙂 Despite a mini break of fitness 15 or so years ago i have been steadily growing…outwards.  There was no real can’t fit on a rollercoaster or breaking a chair moment or anything but by at the age of 42 i figured something had to change before i drop dead.

So i started Slimming World back in September 2014 and my first weigh in was 20St 3lbs. Ouch. Yes big ouch ! I was just back from a trip abroad where i had not eaten much for a week so actually i was probably 6 or 7 pounds lighter than normal !

Since we are now into November 2015, things have improved somewhat ! Below is a graph of the weight loss so far, as you can see it’s really starting to tail off now.

So now I am down to a much more reasonable 14st 11lbs, with my lowest weight being 14st 8lbs. My target weight is 14st 2lbs which would give me a total weight loss of 6st 1lb.

Slimming world is a fantastic plan, the key thing really though is going through the weekly weigh in, it really helps to keep you focussed. The reality is that i probably have to keep going to weigh in for the rest of my life, otherwise it will all just pile straight back on !!
