Life took a slightly new direction back in 2019. I did my motorbike test 10+ years ago, hated every minute of it but passed by some miracle ! Fast forwards 10 years and midlife crisis number (I have lost count) came along and I thought, yeah let’s get a motorbike…..so Roxy arrived. She was a Harley Davidson Sportster 48 Special in “wicked red”. Absolutely beautiful.
Roxy wasn’t enough though, and next into the stable came Betsy. Betsy was a Royal Enfield Classic 500 Tribute Edition.
Betsy was slow, but oh so cool.
As with all people who buy a Harley Sportster soon enough you want a bigger Harley……….bring on Mina. Mina like her namesake from Emmerdale was absolutely batshit crazy. So fast it was unreal. So fast in fact that I decided she was going to kill me.
With the threat of death from Mina, I went for a “Big” Harley. The 2022 Lowrider S “Dita”
I didn’t know at the time but they were about to upgrade the engine to 117Ci, this approximates to 1.95 Litres. Yes, a 1.9 Motorbike. Dita is very fast, but not “Mina” fast. She is also cool as fuck !
All these fast Harley’s made me realise that Betsy was just too slow……..She had to go…..I go back to the first bike I really wanted but was drawn in by Roxy…….So here is Scarlet a Triumph Bobber.
Scarlet is a very sexy machine…..not too fast, not too slow….she’s perfect.
What’s next you ask……………
On the Wishlist is another Royal Enfield (because I wish I never sold Betsy) and also maybe a Harley Fatboy, also love the Suzuki Z900rs’s
