So it’s Groundhog Day…….again……no not really, this time it’s weigh in day ! I should have had high hopes having been like a literal angel all week. I feel like since it was -6 last week I can’t really expect that again so I was hoping for -4, being honest though it felt like I hadn’t lost much…….The scales were not kind, I had lost just 1.5.
To figure out if it was all worth it I looked up a picture of 1.5lb of fat. I couldn’t find one so I made my own. A 1lb fat chunk, then half of that again, a ‘fat hunk’….BOOM ! To think I never even turned up for my art GCSE exam….I’m like a young Rolf Harris Banksy.
Anyway what did I eat today……Fruit and yoghurt with 1 weetabix.

Mid afternoon snicky snacky snoo.

Lunch was an omelette, sadly though I ate that before I took a picture of it, not sure how that happened !!!!
Next up was a trip to Ron’s

And a hifi bar.

That was all pre-weigh in………….by some miracle of became slimmer of the week and won a big bag of goodies. Joyfully skipping out of the building looking forwards to my free pickled cockles. I came to the turnstile and the bottom dropped out of my world. When I say world of course I mean bag. Of course, being me the pickled cockles glass jar smashed on the floor, soaking the carpet with fishy vinegar. The tramp in me does admit to trying one off the floor, they were pretty good actually, crunchy….though that may have been glass. I guess I will find out in the morning.

This disaster distracted me from buying some mayonaise for treat night so I could not make the hot egg sandwiches that I had been lusting after, so it ended up as normal…
Bacon, egg and mushroom cobs *2, baked beans and a pork pie and a blob of brown sauce. This came with a king size twix chaser.

Topped off with a coffee, three biscuits and the worlds smallest chocolate bar.

Praise the lord that this day is over. We go again tomorrow………with the promise of this coming week to ‘mix it up’. This might be a problem, I am a creature of habit.
See the picture below, it’s from my food diary dated the 7th of August 2015. It’s fruit and yoghurt with weetabix.
